Tell me muse, the story of “Citizen`s Island”
Everybody has a digital island, a Citizen`s Island, with personal data, applications and a wallet. People are working, studying, partying, traveling, reading, making love, doing nothing, fantasizing, painting, making music, solving puzzles, and more.
Also companies belong to the community. In the first part of the 21 century, such companies were called DAOs, decentralized autonomous organizations. DAOs’ profits benefit the community; everybody receives a basic income. If you want to increase your income, you can do so by following courses. If you want to work, you won’t earn a lot or even will have to pay, as many kinds of jobs are scarce. Citizens have their medical record on their Island, which is convenient for healthcare employees, and fantastic for research institutes. Anonymized medical data already have brought about a healthcare revolution. Many diseases are eradicated.
Citizens themselves and nobody else, decide which Island information is accessible for third parties. They can establish a secure connection with other Islands, using self-sovereign identity (SSI).
Citizens can digitally rate products and services of companies, e.g. on sustainability, fair trade etc. Those ratings can be included in search-tasks. Products and services with good ratings will show up in search tasks and in this way more of them will be sold.
Money comes in different forms, e.g. water-coins, women-coins, art-coins, Muslim-coins, volunteer-coins and more.
The governments task is to control. Multinationals, formerly in charge, are bought out and belong to the community. Information is fact-proofed, ineffective drugs and vaccines are history.
Poverty is eradicated. There is no reason for wars anymore. Criminal energy is channeled: you can invest in exo-planets where you are free to do whatever you want.
Also many recreational drugs are popular, as are inventing new languages and increasing your fantasy. There are puzzle contests and brain wave games.
The meaning of life is the meaning you create yourself, in other words what means the most to you.
Popular is not to consume but to learn and to love.
